Over 40 Years Of Freight Forwarding Experience
About Intertrans Express Inc.
Intertrans Express Inc. was incorporated in 1999 by a team whose combined shipping experience already spanned four decades. Today we operate as an FMC-licensed NVOCC and a CTPAT-certified partner, issuing our own bills of lading, filing AMS and ISF data in-house, and managing door-to-door moves for importers, exporters, manufacturers and distributors.
Because our own staff handles booking, documentation, customs coordination and final-mile delivery, overseas buyers deal with one accountable team instead of a chain of subcontractors. That structure is what keeps transit commitments, cargo condition and landed costs predictable, shipment after shipment.
Share your lane, commodity, Incoterms and target transit time. Our operations specialists will map the most reliable routing across ocean, air or road — including customs, documentation and warehousing steps.

Core Capabilities
From a single LCL pallet to a multi-modal project move, Intertrans Express Inc. builds the routing, documentation and compliance workflow around your cargo — not the other way around.
FCL and LCL import and export programs with direct carrier space, consolidation options and full container-status visibility.
Airport-to-airport and door-to-door air cargo for time-critical, high-value and perishable shipments on both import and export legs.
Drayage, LTL and truckload delivery scheduled to your dock appointment, warehouse window or distribution calendar.
Warehousing, customs clearance, AMS/ISF filing, cargo insurance guidance and documentation control under one file.
We book, consolidate and document ocean freight in both directions, issuing our own NVOCC bills of lading so the paperwork chain stays short and auditable.
When the production delay costs more than the freight, our air desk secures capacity and manages the handoff from factory floor to consignee dock.
Inland execution is where most international shipments lose their schedule. We control it directly through vetted carriers in the U.S. and Canada.
Our scope continues after the freight lands — so cargo clears, stores and ships again without changing providers.
Efficient, World-Class Freight Solutions
Why Overseas Buyers Choose Us
Licences, certifications and a single accountable operations team — the three things that decide whether an international shipment arrives as planned.
More than 40 years of combined shipping experience sits behind every booking. Long-standing importers and exporters keep their files with us because escalation paths are short: the person quoting your lane is the person tracking your container.
We are an FMC-licensed NVOCC and a certified partner in the U.S. Customs and Border Protection CTPAT programme. That means documented supply chain security procedures, vetted business partners and reduced inspection risk for compliant shippers.
Owned offices in Los Angeles, New York, Toronto and Bangkok are reinforced by a network of audited agents, truckers and customs brokers. Origin and destination handling are coordinated on the same file, with time-zone overlap on both ends of the move.
We compare routings, equipment and consolidation strategies against your inventory calendar, then recommend the option with the best landed cost — not simply the cheapest ocean rate. Programmes are reviewed as volumes and seasons change.
Out-of-gauge machinery, heavy lift pieces and regulated dangerous goods require planning before booking. We prepare IMDG/IATA documentation, stowage and lashing proposals, permit applications and port-side supervision for complex moves.
How A Shipment Moves With Us
Every file follows the same disciplined sequence, so buyers always know what has happened and what happens next.
We confirm commodity, HS classification, packing, Incoterms, volumes and required delivery window before quoting.
Space is secured, B/L or AWB instructions are issued, and AMS/ISF data is filed within regulatory deadlines.
Vessel, flight and container milestones are tracked; exceptions such as rollovers or holds are reported proactively.
Customs entry, terminal release, drayage and final-mile delivery are coordinated, then the file is closed with full records.
Global Offices
Four owned offices across North America and Southeast Asia keep origin documentation, destination clearance and inland delivery aligned.

We move FCL and LCL ocean freight, air freight and domestic truckload or drayage across the Transpacific trades, intra-Asia routes, North America and cross-border Canada corridors, supported by our offices in Los Angeles, New York, Toronto and Bangkok.
Yes. Our team prepares IMDG and IATA dangerous goods documentation and plans breakbulk, flat rack, open top and heavy lift movements, including surveys, permits and lashing requirements.
Have the commodity description and HS code, gross weight and volume or dimensions, packing type, Incoterms, pickup and delivery addresses, required cargo-ready date and any special handling or regulatory requirements available. Complete data upfront prevents re-quoting and customs delays.
